When building a Web application, creating the DAL should be one of your first steps, occurring before you start creating your presentation layer. With Visual Studio, creating a DAL based on Typed DataSets is a task you can accomplish in 10-15 minutes.

Another small class with nothing fancy or advanced, but that could spare time in not having to do it yourself ;-) .net has a lot of nifty debugging features. For Runtime support a lot of  convenient code exists in the System.Diagnostics namespace. But.. if you're anything like me, you use the Console.Write and WriteLine functions when developing. Geoff , Mitch , Glav and Damien have all listed their politically correct reasons to attend TechEd.  Now here's for the real ressons….    ;)   1. It's all about the shirts !!   Be it geek shirts , or the bright Mambo ones, TechEd is definitely all about the shirts , especially the Tshirts !!  The brighter they are, the more stylier they are, the more folks reckon there's some worth remembering.  the T's can really tell you a lot about how serious a company is, and how thi ...
